Robotics Garage Summer Robotic Adventure Programme - Introduction to STEM (Ages 9-12)
In this course, students will learn basic key concepts of STEM from coding, electronics to robotics. Students will code and build their own designed robot. This course will be an eye-opener and provide opportunity for children keen to explore the possibility of technology and creation.
We emphasize play to learn, creativity and design thinking. Students will build fun and exciting projects with Squishy Circuit, Snap Circuits, Arduino, BBC Micro:bit, and more.
At the end of the course, participants will bring their own designed robot home.
Lesson 1: Electronic Magic with Squishy Circuit and Snap Circuits
Lesson 2-3: Coding Fun with Micro:bit and/or ScratchJr
Lesson 4: Build and code your own robot
Lesson 5: Code your piano and make a lamp
* Participants can bring their built robot home.
No programming skills required.

Monica has been teaching kids on coding and innovation technologies since 2013. She teaches the after-school class in CDNIS in 2014, and has been an instructor and curriculum developer for a Kids’ coding academy. She is also a trainer to provide training to instructors about technologies.
